Neil Diamond concert reviews

Below is the compilation of Neil Diamond concerts reviews from people who have attended their concerts.

One of my best all time memories is attending this concert back in 1977 with my father. There was no “online” ticket booking back then, and I remember being on the phone for hours trying to get through to book tickets as soon as the phone lines opened. I was fortunate enough to get through and get a couple of tickets. We drove down from Warrington the morning of the concert and joined the mass of people waiting to take our seats on an unusually hot & sunny afternoon. The whole concert was incredible, with several encores that left the crowd wanting more.

The concert was one week before my 19th birthday, and we sat on the right hand lawn, almost aisle seats, about one quarter of the way from the stage.

I am looking forward to # 30. I have seen him on every tour since 1972.
Not every show is terrific, but I would say 98% of his are. We are only human.

The venue can make or break the quality of sound.

I saw Neil Diamond in St. Paul last year (2015) – it was by far the best concert experience I have ever had! I’ve been to lots of concerts but this was special. 2 solid hours of straight-up hits and great songs. I didn’t even know Neil Diamond wrote Red, Red Wine and I’m a Believer. No auto tuning, all real music and song craft, voice and joy. Happy and dancing or nostalgic and meaningful. I went with my parents and we all agreed that his voice is still strong and amazing and it was a memory of a lifetime. There were lots of families – grandparents, parents, twenty-something’s, kids. Large groups of friends. It was just a happy, feel-good time. I highly recommend!

Favorite moment: Singing “Sweet Caroline” and “America” with thousands of other people.
Setlist: Hits! So many hit songs that I didn’t know were Neil Diamond songs.

I have been seeing Neil for the last 36 years and he has never dissapointed! He gets everyone young and old dancing and singing together! Definitely worth the money for a night of feel good music.

Favorite moment: The old videos he showed of his childhood. And of course the kiss from a lucky participant in the audience!

It was a fantastic concert. I am amazed at his energy for the whole thing.

Favorite moment: I think the song that was playing was “Brooklyn Roads” with a picture presentation of Mr. Diamond’s life showing behind him.

Started on time and then one great song after another, twenty-four in all! Superbly performed with a great backup band. Neil Diamond is an engaging and excellent performer. Great concert!

Favorite moment: Beginning to end!
Setlist: I’m a Believer, Thank the Lord for the Night Time, Love on the Rocks, Hello Again, Pretty Amazing Grace, You Got to Me, Girl, You’ll Be a Woman Soon, Solitary Man, Red Red Wine, Beautiful Noise, If You Know What I Mean, Brooklyn Roads, Shilo, In Better Days, The Art of Love, Forever in Blue Jeans, Cherry, Cherry, Holly Holy, I Am … I Said ENCORE, Cracklin’ Rosie, Sweet Caroline, America, Brother Love’s Traveling Salvation Show and Heartlight
